Founded in Singapore in the 1930s, Lam Soon first began trading in edible oils, rice and copra.

In 1961, the company began operations in Hong Kong and is now a major player in edible oils and home care products in the territory.

In 1997, the Hong Leong Group became the major shareholder of the Lam Soon Group.

Today, the core businesses of Lam Soon Group are edible oils, flour and home care products.
